The IT Support Specialist is a tech-savvy individual who is responsible for deploying, configuring, maintaining, and supporting end-user devices and applications.

Responsibilities

  • Must demonstrate and model Sachse Construction’s core values.
  • Install and perform repairs to hardware, software, A/V equipment and peripheral equipment including cell phones and air cards
  • Set up equipment for Team Memeber use, performing and ensuring proper installation of operating systems and appropriate software
  • Responsible for procuring, installing, configuring, supporting and maintaining end user devices
  • Support a wide range of remote users across the United States
  • Troubleshoot user computer problems whether hardware, software or user error
  • Minimal travel to offsite locations as required

Qualifications

  • Resourcefulness and ability to track down information quickly and accurately
  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • Must have knowledge of Windows OS, basic networking functions and mobile devices
  • Competently demonstrate the skill to own IT issues from incident creation to resolution – identifying issues, providing alternatives to keep users working and productive, determining roots cause, communicating status updates and implementing resolutions
  • Manage and resolve queue of IT help desk tickets for technical assistance and support on computer systems, network, software, printers and phones
  • Promote end user productivity and education by publishing precise, comprehensive and accessible technical training media and/or working with the training team
  • Maintains high level of professionalism at all levels
  • Excellent written/oral communication and presentation skills
  • Commitment to detail and strong sense of urgency
  • Must be well organized and possess problem solving skills
  • Positive attitude and a good sense of humor
  • Ability to work in a high energy, fast paced team environment
  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision
